Session: Young People Lead the Way: Moving a youth-led Festival of Hope online

The shift to digital was an unexpected challenge for many organisations, projects and events in 2020. The Festival of Hope was an example of this, planned as an ambitious celebration and exploration of hope and heritage through a series of live events across North West England, led by 40 young people working with five museum partners. When Covid hit, it was the powerful, innovative, resilient voices of the Festival’s young producers who drove the project forward, designing and delivering a unique digital Festival that offered hope when it was most needed.
